ARGYLE was founded by Houman Salem, a fashion industry leader and business entrepreneur. Prior to ARGYLE, Houman was the founder and CEO of Reverb Agency, a top-tier digital marketing firm serving the technology, entertainment, and fashion industries. While overseeing Reverb Agency, Houman simultaneously owned and operated Chelsea Manor Intimates, a popular retail destination for entry-level luxury intimate apparel. Chelsea Manor Intimates sold direct to consumers through its retail store front at the Westfield Fashion Square mall in Los Angeles, as well as on its e-commerce store powered by Magento.
Houman’s career in the fashion industry has taken him all over the world. From serving in an executive leadership position with the World’s largest costume company based in New York, to consulting to China’s largest chain of retail stores, to developing international distribution throughout Europe for a small Hollywood based apparel brand. Houman’s experience in the fashion industry provides a unique perspective to building highly effective digital marketing strategies for clients in and out of the fashion industry..
Having deep domain expertise in Fashion, which is by far, one of the most competitive industries, gives me and the team at ARGYLE Digital Media the capabilities to cut through the chaos and reach consumers creatively and effectively across a variety of industries.
Houman currently lives in Los Angeles, CA and earned his MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu and his BA from California State University Northridge.
